Designed for the beginner or novice DIY enthusiast, all our furniture and decor (picture frames, etc) projects are easy to understand and you will be able to replicate the projects at home if you want to make a second piece, or transfer your knowledge for other projects.
We provide all the tools and materials for furniture workshops, excluding fabric for the upholstery projects, and you will do any finishing touches at home.
While we do recommend that you attend a Beginner Workshop prior to undertaking a Furniture Workshop, it isn't essential, as the DIY Divas are on hand to guide you through the process step-by-step. However, we do suggest that you attend a Beginners Workshop at a suitable time, as we offer plenty of tips, tricks and techniques that you will find extremely useful for all your DIY projects.
We offer various furniture and decor projects. At these workshops all the materials will be supplied for you to make and take home a piece of furniture. For upholstery projects you will be required to supply your own fabric for upholstered furniture, and the quantities required will be advised. For painting or staining projects, you will make the furniture at the workshop and do any finishing at home.
While we endeavour to keep projects to an initial design, there may be times when materials are out of stock and will need to be substituted.
You are responsible for ensuring that you make the necessary arrangements to take the furniture home with you. In the event that the furniture will not fit into your vehicle, discuss this in advance with the respective DIY Divas to see if delivery arrangements can be made for a fee.
